When constructing a prospecting and appraisal well in the water area of the Caspian Sea with a depth of 4202.9 meters, specialists of LUKOIL-Nizhnevolzhskneft needed a technical solution for guiding the liner 193.7 mm through the section with a small annulus in the cased borehole and subsequent centralization in the expanded open hole.
NORD specialists developed a new type of centralizer in a short time, taking into account technical requirements for non-standard conditions of the wellbore, technical tests were carried out and the necessary batch of centralizers Model N100SUr-194 was manufactured.
The rapid production, delivery to the mobilization point and further use of the centralizers Model N100SUr-194 and locking rings allowed to continue the construction of a prospecting and evaluation well on Hazri Square in the established time, to bring the liner 193.7 mm long 992.7 m to the bottom of 4202.9 m and to conduct high-quality cementing of the liner without complications.
