Variable coefficient of elasticity
A standard bow for our centralizers are designed to have along their length variable coefficient of elasticity - ultimate strength vs stand-off properties
Special form of the springs facilitates centralization and placement against wellbore wall, that eliminates the risks associated with wall friction and/or wall biting when centralizer passes caving formation.
The restoring force of the springs ensures optimal centering of the column of casing in the well and it's in 1,5 times higher than standard required by API 10D
The shape and design of the springs for each size of the centralizer are developed individually for optimal placement in the annuli of a hole, which allows us to best solve your problem.
Design of hinged joints shows the strength, which is equal material strength of the centralizer
NORD centralizer is designed to provide identical bilateral running forces during reciprocating - no additional drag forces result when tripping in/pulling back thus less risk of casing break off
High stability factor
The Nord centralizers can be used for normal descent and for the descent of columns with rotation.
During descent of casing column, a radial lip – helps bypass obstructions and protects weld point of bow-spring from shock loads. Also, the radial ledge acts as a stiffening rib to protect the ring from deformation during transport.
